The INFOGRAPHIC provided is from the Future of Music Coalition (FMC) a group that I follow that is dedicated to helping musicians get paid for their hard work.
This is one of three that they have created showing how the money flows in different scenarios to the actual creative folks that create the content for both regular terrestrial radio and webcasts.
The infographic is a preview to a more in-depth discussion of these types of issues that I will explore in later posts, but seemed timely with the recent discussions regarding the treatment of new artists by Spotify. So for now, here is the FMC Infographic that allows you to follow the money.
